Optus has announced it will be selling the Apple iPad 2 on December 15.
The telco flagged its intention to offer the product in November. It will carry all models of the tablet device with Wi-Fi and 3G on 24-month contracts and will also be selling it outright to prepaid customers.
Optus competitors Vodafone and Telstra already offer the product.
With a choice of a black or white chassis, the iPad 2 features a 9.7-inch LED-backlit LCD screen and Apple’s dual-core A5 processor. Capacity ranges from 16GB to 64GB.
The device is available on consumer and business plans.
