US business productivity company, Mindjet, has inked new partnerships with Data #3, Dimension Data and Insight to expand the distribution of its information mapping software in the A/NZ market.
The new partners will integrate Mindjet's suite of software products into their solutions for customers across the region. Mindjet general manager of the Asia-Pacific, Japan and Latin America, Cameron Ackbury, said, “These new partnerships are key to our new go-to market strategy to expand our reach in Australia and working with these solution providers will strengthen and develop our market growth.”
Channel manager, Conor O’Gorman, said the company’s previous distributor model of having any reseller selling the application had a lack of focus.
As a result, Mindjet had decided include partners that were capable of offering additional support.
The distributors will be provided with training, product leads and marketing support in facilitating their relationships with their resellers.
Mindjet has also released a set of solutions to aid work management.
The Mindjet MindManager 2012 Professional for Windows is a brainstorming tool that enables real-time co-editing, enhanced information maps and a new desktop interface.
It integrates with Mindjet’s latest Cloud-based service, the Mindjet Connect, to provide open and full sharing of MindManager maps with anyone, anywhere and on any device.
Mindjet also has introduced the Mindjet Connect service on the iOS platform and announced tentative plans to launch an Android version in Q4.
It most recently acquired a social task-based Web service, Cohuman, which keeps teams in sync by giving them the ability to better coordinate with colleagues on projects and tasks.
Mindjet is considering additional headcount in its budgetary headcount process within the region to aid its growth in the enterprise space and more information will be provided at a later date. MindManager is available for the upgrade price of $US179 and $US399 for new customers while Mindjet Connect is available free of charge.
