Anittel signs $5.2m in enterprise contracts

2300 users to be supported across 79 sites

Anittel Group (ASX: AYG) will continue its managed service agreements with two large key enterprise clients.

As part of the agreements, Anittel will provide IT support to more than 2300 users across 79 locations in Australia – including the running of full-time onsite technician teams.

Due to confidentiality terms, the company was unable to provide the names of the companies. However, one of the company is in the manufacturing industry and the other, in financial services.

The renewed two-year agreements embody over $2.6 million per year in initial direct services revenue.

The agreements contain annual review and renewal points.

According to Anittel enterprise account manager, George Fattouche, the company’s onsite resources were one of the main elements both clients wanted to maintain.

Anittel managing director and executive chairman, Peter Kazacos, said he is looking forward to maintaining a strong working relationship with both enterprise clients.

“They may have different business operations, but they share a common vision of what an effective IT function can bring to a national enterprise. We are now looking to build further strategic enterprise relationships throughout our metropolitan and regional footprint,” he said.

Anittel claimed the renewal of the enterprise managed service agreements strengthens its capacity to service clients across Australia. It also follows the recent announcement of a service agreement with NBN Co and the opening of two new regional NSW offices in Tamworth and Armidale.

Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
