Software and hardware solutions provider, Emerson Network Power has recruited Comsol Distribution as a second national distributor across its full range of offerings.
According to the company, the partnership is part of its commitment to better service its growing IT channel base across Emerson’s infrastructure portfolio.
Emerson veteran and national partner [reseller] manager, Daniel Sargent, said the company’s top current priority is in channel investment and over the next three years, it is looking to triple its digit growth in the space.
“Distributors with Critical Infrastructure knowledge and experience are absolutely essential to Emerson’s success in engaging the IT Channel and Comsol were a natural fit for us in that regard,” he said.
Emerson Network Power Australia’s managing director, David Scott, said Emerson’s strategic acquisition of Avocent in 2009 is a key component of its integrated Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) approach.
Comsol sales and marketing director, Marcus Heron, said, “The move allows Comsol to meet our channel partner's desire for end-to-end Emerson's DC Solutions across its range of UPS, racking, power and cooling solutions.”
Comsol and its partners will add Emerson’s brands, Liebert and Knurr, to the Comsol portfolio, enabling the company to provide customers with a holistic datacentre approach.
Earlier this year, Comsol refreshed its own brand to reflect its increased focus in the DCIM space.
