Telcoinabox will launch wholesale services on the National Broadband Network (NBN) after signing an NBN wholesale agreement with NBN Co.
The company is a telecommunications wholesaler and aggregator dealing with services including broadband and VoIP.
It is still going through the on-boarding process with NBN Co and network testing will commence in January.
NBN services will initially be available to 100 of Telcoinabox resellers with a product launch expected in April 2012.
“Many of our service providers are in regional areas covered by the latest NBN Co roll-out plans and it’s critical they are ready to connect customers when the network goes live in their area,” Telcoinabox CEO, Paul Line, said in a statement.
Predicting the mass adoption of hosted voice services by SMBs, the wholesale telco provider will be launching its cloud-based hosted voice product, MyPBX, this month.
MyPBX stems from Telcoinabox’s partnership with Engin earlier this year for its Broadsoft platform.
The product will be offered over Telcoinabox’s existing ADSL2+ or SHDSL footprint but can be easily migrated to the NBN once it is switched on in certain areas.
MyPBX has the potential to attract new resellers partners from the system integration and IT management space, according to Line.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
