Smartpen vendor, Livescribe, has inked a partnership with Scholastic to expand its retail, commercial business and education footprint in the market. Livescribe smartpens capture everything users hear and write. Through uploading notes to their computer, users can store, organise and search their digital notebooks using keywords to find the exact information they need to review.
“Given Livescribe’s benefit to teachers and students of all ages, we jumped at the opportunity to work with Scholastic Australia,” Livescribe A/NZ general manager, Mark Parker, said.
The vendor recently introduced Livescribe Connect, a service that makes it possible to send handwritten notes and recorded audio to Microsoft OneNote, GoogleSites, GoogleDocs, Facebook, Evernote, email and the Apple iPad and iPhone.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
