With the RBA cutting home interest rates, experts hope that the dwindling number of home sales will soon pick up. realestateVIEW.com.au is an app for those of you who need to keep on top of the property market - on the move.

The app enables you to plan and research propertie. It offers up-to-date sales, auction results and median prices, with the ability to search for properties.

You can ‘check in’ to properties, easily keep track of the homes you’ve visited and plan your journey through the Google Maps view.

Updated daily, the app can be used to act as your own personal planner by automatically organising property inspection times straight into the iPhone calendar.

You can also call or email an agent directly from your iPhone via the app.

The Android version is planned for release next month.

This app was reviewed on an iPhone 4. Pros: Features thousands of properties across Australia.

Cons: Only available in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania for some functions.

Verdict: Useful for those who want to keep a close eye on the property market.
