Distribution Central graces BRW Fast 100 for the seventh time

More than 20 technology companies grace the list this year

Distribution Central has made another appearance on the BRW Fast 100 list, coming in at 67.

Each year BRW finds the 100 fastest growing Australian companies through averaging their annual revenue growth spanning a three year period to June 30.

Distribution Central managing director, Nick Verykios, said this year’s ranking was significant as it shows the company is still in growth mode, seven years after inception.

“It’s testament to our continual R&D investment, dynamic work culture and innovative approach to developing new services and initiatives for the channel,” Verykios said.

In the past, Distribution Central’s BRW Fast 100 ranked 2005, 32nd (2005); 17th (2006); 8th (2007); 26th (2008); 19th (2009) and 41st (2010).

The distributor was also recently named BRW A/NZ Successful Private Business of theYear for 2011, and has been ranked in the BRW list in the 50 Best Companies to Work For in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

A few more technology companies also graced this year’s list including Queensland-based inTechnology ranking in at 35, jumping up nine places from last year.

inTechnology has secured a place on the ladder after achieving 73 per cent growth during the past three years and revenue of $7.79 million. This growth has seen the company move into a larger office and warehouse premises this year. “Working closely with our partners as a VAD is very rewarding when you see the financial success of both our partners and us and is the reward we gain from hard work and our commitment to the channel,” inTechnology founder and CEO, Mark Winter, said.

“We’re creeping up the list and we are even more determined to continue this growth, keep up the pace and expand and develop our company’s offerings and foothold in the local market.”

Other technology companies that graced the list year include Mwave (15); Telair (18); Kogan (27); Big Commerce (28); Spirit Telecom (47); Uber Global (50); Test Logistics (52); RFI (52); Objective Digital (57); Seven Consulting (68); ispONE (70); SpinTel (83); NetSpot (85); Business Aspect (87); Telstra Business S-E Melbourne (90); Generation-e (91); Amblique (92); Voxcom (99) and Avoka Technologies (100).

Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
