Mobile Documents
Cost: Free | Developer: VISIARC | Platform: Symbian^3 | 2.08 MB |
If you’re tired of waiting for large attachments to download onto your smartphone, Mobile Documents will help lighten the load.
A Push Mail app, Mobile Documents features powerful attachment viewing and handling capabilities that enables typically large files, such as PDFs, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents to be quickly accessed at a reduced data amount.
The app makes this possible by utilising the power of the cloud, and services such as Exchange, Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo! are supported. Users who are worried about the security of data on the smartphone will be happy to hear that since no documents are downloaded to the device, no sensitive documents will be left on your device if it is lost or stolen. Strong encryption secures your connection and protects your email and documents integrity.
In addition to be being easy to set up, the interface has been designed so that page turning, zooming and viewing are all easily done.
Pros: Access documents quickly without the data charges
Cons: Does not support POP3
Verdict: Save yourself some time when downloading large files with Mobile Documents
