Data#3 hires McAtee to head up WA

ASX-listed ICT services provider, Data#3 (ASX:DTL), has hired Glenn McAtee in a newly-created role as state manager for its West Australian branch.
McAtee joins Data#3 from L7 Solutions, and prior to that he ran his own business which was eventually acquired by Alphawest.
Data#3 general manager, Laurence Baynham, said the appointment of McAtee was a critical element in continuing its growth in WA.
“West Australia is a fast growing economy which provides us with many opportunities to expand our range of solutions and services,” Baynham said. “With Glenn on board we have every confidence that we can grow rapidly and attract the best people to the WA team.”
Data#3 recently posted another record profit year in FY11, achieving a 37 per cent increase to $15 million in net profit and revenue increase of 16.5 per cent to $697.8 million.
In its Annual Report 2011, Data#3 revealed staff numbers grew 27 per cent in FY11 with 638 permanent staff, 42 casual staff and 352 contractors.
