HP has appointed Mike Jamieson as its new national retail sales manager for the HP Imaging and Printing Goup (IPG) Inkjet and Web Solutions (IWS).
Jamieson will be responsible for managing the retail sales team and in the short term focusing on promoting new Photosmart printers, while at the same time developing the consumer market for HP’s ePrint technology and print apps.
He will join the team headed by Ben Vivoda, who is the vendor’s South Pacific business manager, Inkjet Web Solutions.
In a release, Jamieson said “HP’s market leading inkjet printing line up offers the latest in mobile accessibility with ePrint, Print Apps and AirPrint. These offerings provide consumers with tomorrow’s technology today, all at a very affordable price.”
Jamieson has worked for HP previously from 2005-2010 in various Australia and New Zealand account management roles, before taking up a role with Derni and spending time as a Harvey Norman Franchisee-in-Training.
