Liquidware opens Aussie branch for partner support

US-based desktop virtualisation vendor, Liquidware Labs, has established an office in Melbourne and appointed Anne Waterhouse as its regional sales director.

Waterhouse will firstly focus on providing local support for the channel and to drive the acquisition of new strategic partners under its Acceler8 Partner Program. Prior to joining Liquidware, Waterhouse worked for Vizioncore and Quest Software.

“The Acceler8 Partner Program gives our Channel partners an entire methodology to address every phase of a desktop transformation project across Windows 7, VMware View, and Citrix XenDesktop,” Waterhouse said.

Benefits of the program include leads, training and marketing support.

Liquidware has targeted the A/NZ region as one of the major markets for its products and will be increasing its presence in the area over the coming months through recruiting more sales and support staff.

Liquidware is distributed in Australia through TrackITOnline.

“We are very enthusiastic about the appointment of Anne Waterhouse to drive sales in this region for Liquidware Labs. We have worked with Anne before and the channel can expect great things from her,” TrackITOnline managing director, Phil Lancaster, said.
