Education provider, [[xref:http://www.arnnet.com.au/tag/L7|L7 Training|All on L7, has opened its Pearson Vue and Prometric testing centre in Perth.
According to L7, Pearson Vue and Prometric are the only certified bodies that vendors like Cisco, Citrix, VMware, EMC and Microsoft recognise when it comes to examinations.
The education reseller noted a gap in the Perth market after the demise of Excom in August last year. To help rectify this, L7 invested $15,000 in new PCs, cameras and other equipment as well as $5000 in resources to help establish the new testing facility in their recently renovated office.
“The introduction of this new capability further enhances L7s ‘full service’ vision and allows student to not only train with L7 but sit exams here as well,” L7 Training business strategy manager, Melissa Strutt, said.
It also enhances L7’s goal to become the top technical trainer in Western Australia in the next four years.
Exams can be booked directly through the Prometric and Pearson Vue websites.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
