Telcoinabox makes strategic hires

Telecommunications wholesaler, [[xref:http://www.arnnet.com.au/tag/Telcoinabox|Telcoinabox|All on Telcoinabox, has hired four new staff at its A/NZ operations centre.
The new faces include CFO, Tony Crossley, network and IT manager, Ahad Aboss, group product manager, Jeanette Stack and sales manager Adrian Atherton.
Telcoinabox managing director, Damian Kay, said hiring the right people in strategic positions allows the company to achieve its growth plans, action its NBN and acquisition strategies.
“We have some ambitious goals for the company,” Kay said. “Our vision is to triple our revenue over the next five years. To achieve this our plan is to strengthen our financial position through raising capital, growing our current service providers by launching new and improved voice, mobile, data and internet products, and adding to the mix, non organic growth options.
Crossley will assist Telcoinabox in setting up the foundations for the next growth phase and leading the company’s micro-acquisition program in a financial management capacity for all service providers in A/NZ. He previously worked for Mortgage Choice for 10 years.
Aboss’ experience includes working for iGreen, Swiftel and Exetel. As Telcoinabox expands into layer 2 DSL, SHDSL, VoIP, hosting and cloud technology, Aboss will lead a team of three engineers into this phase along with managing all internal IT requirements.
Slack will be responsible for product management, development and strategy. She maintains more than 14 years telecommunications experience, previously working with Veda Advantage, Optus and ACN.
Atherton comes from AAPT and in his new role, he will focus on targeting ISPs, small telcos and existing telco dealers looking to expand their product folios or increase their customer base incorporating the Telcoinabox model.
