PRODUCTS: Transcend reveals JetFlash T3S stainless steel USB flash drive

Storage and multimedia product vendor, Transcend, has unveiled its latest JetFlash T3S USB flash drive.
The JetFlash T3S is designed to be willowy, weightless and is credit-card thin.
It is encased in a rigid metallic case made from refined zinc alloy and encompasses a stainless steel protection plate. It is made resistant to shock, dust and water with its chip on board (COB) packaging technology.
The flash drive has a USB 2.0 interface that provides speed reads of up to 18Mbps and write speeds of up to 5Mbps. It is USB powered and requires no external power or battery. With plug and play installation, the JetFlash T3S can be connected instantly to a multitude of gadgets and devices.
It is available in A/NZ in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, along with a limited lifetime warranty. The company is also offering users free download of its Transcend Elite data management tools to keep files organised, protected and up-to-date.
The JetFlash T3S is available from distributors Cellnet, Synnex Australia and WestGroup in Australia and Cellnet, Datawell (NZ), Ingram Micro New Zealand and Synnex New Zealand in New Zealand.
Prices start at $14.95 and $NZ19.95 for the 4GB version.
