Kroll Ontrack signs up 125 certified A/NZ partners in 90 days

Technology services and solutions provider, Kroll Ontrack, has signed up its first 125 certified partners across A/NZ since the company launched its local data recovery certified partner program in May 2011. The Data Recovery Certified Partner Program enables qualified industry providers of IT equipment and services with training and informational materials to improve their capacity of servicing their customer’s data loss situations.
Kroll Ontrack general manager in Asia-Pacific, Adrian Briscoe, said, “We are delighted with the response we have received from our partners in their willingness to keep abreast of technological change and enhance their skills to effectively manage customers’ data loss situations.”
The Kroll Ontrack certification process entails of a series of online training courses, accessible for free as podcasts, to qualified and existing partners – including information technology providers, resellers and consultants.
To become certified, partners must register and complete a minimum of four of five courses, which include: the basics of data recovery, how to present and sell data recovery as a service, data recovery in virtual environments, data management solutions for recovery from Microsoft technology and secure and reliable data destruction.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
