Networking vendor, Aruba Networks, has hired Vincent Chiappazzo as its new managing director for A/NZ, following the departure of Greg Barnes.
Barnes had been with the vendor for more than four years.
Chiapazzo will be responsible for driving the vendor's strategic direction and growing market share.
Prior to joining Aruba, Chiappazzo held various roles with Motorola, Symbol, Microsoft, Cisco, Standard Microsystems Corporation and Compaq.
“This is an exciting time to be part of Aruba Networks. Aruba has moved beyond providing wireless access and now is focused on a broader architectural approach to network access for enterprise mobility,” Chiapazzo said.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
