WatchGuard recruits new partners

Surge in WatchGuard Secure Partners to facilitate security vendor’s growth in A/NZ

Security vendor, WatchGuard Technologies, has signed up 13 new Australian WatchGuard Secure Partners (WSP).

The WSP program provides consulting, design and implementation resources to resellers, such as up-front product rebates, engineering technical support, and access to promotions and training, to assist them in building revenue and increasing profitability.

WatchGuard’s new WSPs span as far a field as Kimberley Computing in Broome, Western Australia, and Hood Sweeney in South Australia, through to Integrated Solutions and IT Leaders in Queensland and CMS IT and indepth IT Solutions in New South Wales.

The other WSPs include iTLC and One Technology in Western Australia, as well as Combo IT, Abit Consulting, Graphique Enterprises and Integrated Solutions in Victoria.

NCSi with national coverage has also been appointed.

“We’re experiencing tremendous success and momentum in the Australian market, as the demand for comprehensive security solutions increases significantly,” WatchGuard Technologies Asia-Pacific vice-president for channels and alliances, Scott Robertson, said.

“We are delighted that our partners share our passion to protect an inter-connected world where the need for security remains crystal clear.”

The new WSPs join an existing 50 WSPs that already operate in Australia and New Zealand and have undergone the necessary training certification qualifications and are committed to quarterly sales targets.

In addition to access to deal registration for sales opportunities, free lead generation kits and local marketing support, WSPs are authorised to assist customers refreshing their security infrastructure whilst enabling prospects with older security technology to upgrade through WatchGuard’s regular trade-up programs.

Earlier in the year, WatchGuard signed up five new partners.
