Distribution Central has been recognised as Australia’s most successful private business, with a turnover of greater than $100 million, at the 2011 BRW A/NZ Private Business Awards.
“This accolade recognises not only our fiscal success and sustained growth, but also our innovative approach to business and our industry” Distribution Central managing director, Nick Verykios, said. “Our R&D investment has created some of the most innovative SaaS solutions in the IT industry; our unique and dynamic work environment has attracted some of the most amazing people; and we’ve also thought outside the box with our services and initiatives, such as our green program CarbonControl.”
This is the first time Distribution Central has won the award, which highlights entrepreneurship, leadership and business acumen.
Private businesses are invited to nominate for the awards, which are judged by a panel of industry and academic experts.
Distribution Central has been ranked in the BRW Fast 100 list of growing companies five years in a row, and has been ranked in the BRW’s 50 Best Companies to Work For in 2009, 2010 and 2011. The distributor has also been recognised by the Australian Business Awards and the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 on several occasions.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
