Dual APAC promotions for Avnet

Costigan and Tan get major roles

Distributor, Avnet, has promoted both Roger Tan and Michael Costigan in its Asia-Pacific operations.

Tan has been promoted to vice-president, business operations. He will assume overall responsibility for the operations team in Asia-Pacific, and will also be responsible for the export compliance program.

He replaces Jackson Ngan who has been promoted to vice-president and general manager, Greater China.

Costigan has been promoted to vice-president, marketing and business innovation, Asia-Pacific.

The 10-year Avnet veteran will continue to drive marketing for the distributor in the region, and continue his role in strategic supplier management.

Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
