Express Data reshuffles executive level management

Shaw, Peach, Masters and McQuarrie involved

Distributor, Express Data, has reshuffled its executive level management.

Former Express Data general manager of sales in Australia, Mal Shaw, has taken on the role of CEO of Dimension Data Learning Solutions (DDLS).

As a result, the company’s general manager of vendors, David Peach, will now take on the position as sales director.

Company director of marketing and operations, Peter Masters, will resume his previous appointment as director of marketing and vendors – a role he was in up to three years ago.

Acting CEO of DDLS, Alison McQuarrie, will fill the position of Express Data director of operations.

According to Masters, when company CEO, David Gage, took up his current position, Shaw applied for the vacant role at DDLS. His successful application was the reason for the reshuffle.

“All of the people in the reshuffled management team have got years of experience in distribution and it’s re-energising to have new responsibilities,” Masters said.

The positions have officially taken effect but Peach and Masters will still act in a caretaker capacity with vendors and operations while they transition during the next few weeks.

The volume distribution arm of Express Data, Expressonline, recently acquired Simms International across A/NZ for an undisclosed sum.
