To coincide with the SAUG Summit 2011 in August, SAP Australia will hold SAP InnoJam, its first-ever Australian innovation competition, at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
The 30-hour SAP InnoJam event will bring together SAP customers, partners, consultants, and employees to develop prototypes based on business cases or scenarios.
Participants will be able to take their ideas from concept to prototype using the newest and most innovative SAP technologies, as well as the opportunity to collaborate and learn about SAP technologies with other enthusiasts.
“The participant’s work is very important to those on the frontline of SAP’s technology development in two ways: It gives us excellent feedback on our technology at an early stage, and it gives us invaluable ideas on what you can do with our technology,” SAP A/NZ head of solution management, Mark Frear, said.
The three best teams selected at SAP InnoJam will have the chance to present their prototypes during the SAUG Summit 2011.
Originally called InnovationWeekend and held in 2010 in Berlin, Las Vegas and Bangalore, the popularity of the event led it to be hosted in other locations around the world such as Sydney.
UTS Business School campus in Sydney will host InnoJam, July 30-31.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
