Fuji Xerox Printers has launched its latest DocuPrint CM505 A4 copier-based colour laser multifunction device (MFD).
According to the printer vendor, this is the first time a solution has been designed to target the SMB market as the managed print services (MPS) market is starting to gain momentum.
The company claims channel partners in the 45 pages per minute segment - experiencing significant growth of over 43 per cent in the last year - will benefit from substantial savings.
Fuji Xerox Printers general manager, David Borg, said, “With over one million small businesses in Australia and less than five per cent currently using a managed print offering, we recognise this as a major growth opportunity for our channel partners.”
The DocuPrint CM505, engineered with an eighth-generation colour touchscreen interface, integrates printing, copying and scanning with an optional fax alternative. It features continuous print speeds of up to 45 pages per minute in colour and monochrome and has a paper capacity of 700 sheets that can be expanded up to 2350 sheets.
The model is packaged with Fuji Xerox Printers’ managed print services program, PagePack, to ensure low ongoing costs for channel partners.
“For around a $40 per week investment, customers receive a solution with a fixed cost per page and consumables included on a monthly service agreement,” Borg said.
To reduce the environmental impact, Fuji Xerox Printers has also incorporated its EA-Eco Toner into the DocuPrint CM505.
EA-Eco Toner reduces power consumption by up to 20 per cent and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by up to 35 per cent.
The Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM505 is available through authorised channel partners and resellers at $4949.
