National IT services provider Empired has landed an exclusive partnership with global cloud automation and management software provider Cloupia.
The partnership provides Empired’s customers with key cloud automation capabilities such as self service, lifecycle management, provisioning and chargeback.
Cloupia’s products integrate with physical infrastructure platforms such as Cisco’s UCS platform, NetApp Unified storage and virtualisation platforms such as VMware ESX, Hyper-V and Redhat KVM.
Empired managing director, Russell Baskerville, said even though it had the potential to create a successful cloud solution with its current partners, Cloupia completed a critical piece of the service.
“The value proposition from this partnership will ensure Empired is strategically placed to participate in and benefit from this rapidly growing technology trend and will ensure Empired continues to drive both revenue and earnings growth,” Baskerville said.
Empired is currently in discussions with a number of major organisations in the resources, utilities and government sector and expect that these new capabilities will drive additional recurring revenue from client engagements.
