Hedloc to distribute Box cloud solution in Asia-Pacific

Cloud computing company, Hedloc, has partnered with Box, a provider of cloud content management (CCM) solutions, to distribute its scalable content sharing platform in the Asia-Pacific region.

Distribution in the region will be handled by Box resellers via Hedloc’s partner program to help spread adoption of the cloud content management solution.

“The partnership is really designed to accelerate and optimise the Box cloud content management solution in businesses of all sizes in the APAC region,” Hedloc CEO, Bruno Pisano, said.

“The solution really scales from small-to-medium business to large enterprises, so we will be bringing on board resellers to facilitate Box’s footprint in the region through the Hedloc partner program.”

Hedloc will take the Box solution out to market via the reseller channel and will target a broad market, from commercial organisations to government departments of various complexities.

“Resellers of many shapes and sizes have registered their interested in Box, and since it is agnostic we can have partners that deal with small organisations taking the solution to their market,” Pisano said.

“The breadth of use and the market means that the breadth of resellers taking Box to the market is there as well.”

Despite the recent high profile release of Microsoft’s Office 365 cloud imitative, Hedloc hopes that the introduction of Box in the region will be well received by cloud-based vendors and carve out a spot for itself.

“If you’re looking for a cloud content management solution, Box is a sweet spot with organisations and individuals that are looking for solutions to scale effectively and quickly without having to focus on the IT part of their business,” Pisano said.
