Distributor, WhiteGold Solutions, has added network security analytics vendor, Solera Networks, to its portfolio.
It will add Solera’s DS line of network forensic appliances to its security line-up. Solera has a technology alliance with FireEye, which is also part of the distributor’s line-up.
WhiteGold managing director, Dominic Whitehand, said a lot of government agencies, carriers and enterprise organisations were looking into forensic technology.
“With all the targeted attacks that we’re seeing, people need more forensic evidence on when and how they were attacked, and where the vulnerabilities lie in their network,” he said.
Whitehand anticipates the new line will add a minimum of $3 million to its bottom line in the first 12 months.
“We’ve had some significant traction with them in the market already, which is really encouraging,” he said.
Solera vice-president of marketing and product management, Peter Schlampp, said it had received interest from across A/NZ government agencies and enterprise businesses.
“Having a solid partnership in place is critical to support this growing demand,” Schlampp said.
