Distributor, WhiteGold Solutions, has added new members as it sets out to restructure its team across the country.
Sam Ney has joined the distributor as its systems development manager. He will be responsible for developing and maintaining its NetSuite system, vendor pricelists, web development/online strategy, graphic design and documentation design for company documentation and marketing.
Ney previously held a similar role with ChannelWorx, prior to its sale to Avnet.
It has also added two more admin staff in Sydney for order processing, accounts and logistics, further increasing its capability and efficiencies in these areas, WhiteGold managing director, Dominic Whitehand, said.
To fit in the new faces, WhiteGold has increased its office space at its current Sydney location and also increased its warehouse capacity with an extra 100sqm.
David Shaw has also joined WhiteGold at its Victorian branch as its senior business development manager. Prior to joining the distributor, he worked for Telstra, SingTel, Optus and Uecomm. “We are also planning a strategic restructure to optimise the performance and efficiency of our team nationwide – an exercise that will involve bringing on board new product managers and technical resources,” Whitehand said.
In January, Whitehand said his goal was to dramatically increase its team this year.
As part of its marketing appeal, the distributor has also launched ‘WhiteGold Seal’ a new logo to portray and represent the quality of its partner enablement and engagement model across the A/NZ channel, Whitehand said. “We have always stood firmly behind the quality of our product and services delivery and the unique way in which we add true value to our channel and vendor partners,” he said. “The seal is our stamp of quality that the channel can trust and something that will feature strongly in all our business activities and messaging moving forward.”
