Telstra’s broadband division, BigPond, has teamed up with Hollywood film studio, Twentieth Century Fox, to distribute films through the BigPond Movies platform.
Over 2500 movies will be available by the end of the year through BigPond Movies to Telstra customers connected to IPTV, smart TVs and BigPond.com.
Titles will include new releases such as Black Swan and Gulliver’s Travels. A swathe of older movies such as the Devil Wears Prada and the X-Men trilogy will also be available.
Telstra said this deal will satiate the large appetites its customers have for online content.
Movies and TV shows from BigPond movies are unmetered for Telstra customers.

iiNet won the case in the Federal Court but the case has been appealed.
Internet Industry Association (IIA) encouraged ISPs and content owners to work together to find a solution to copyright infringement woes.
