Communications service provider, Broadreach Services, has appointed Andrew Tucker as its executive chairman.
Andrew Tucker has more than 20 years of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur who has been involved in a number of successful IT businesses and has worked for companies such as Datacom, Artec and All on Oakton.
He is also a member of the Entrepreneur Organisation, where he has served as both President and mentor chair on the board.
Broadreach CEO, Shaun Wormald, said the appointment will supply Broadreach with strong leadership as it aims to grow its presence in the market.
“Broadreach’s positioning in the strong growth markets of video conferencing, unified communications and digital media requires that the company focus on growing its market share for products and services,” Wormald said.
Andrew Tucker said he could not turn down the opportunity.
“Video conferencing is a very hot topic and in a massive growth stage,” Tucker said.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
