Power supply vendor, Socomec UPS, has selected Vadis Systems to deal exclusively in the small to medium business sector.
After reviewing its current distribution segments, Socomec decided both companies had similar target reseller partners and business models.
“We’re looking for a proactive partner with a clear and defined approach. Vadis Systems offer us the focus and an opportunity to support the power requirements of SMB cloud, virtualisation and hosting solutions,” Socomec Australia managing director, James Fraser, said. “They’ve had an impressive growth the past 18 months and we’re looking forward to developing with them.”
Vadis co-founder Sepp Stepanian, said Socomec fitted in with its virtualisation, networking and security portfolio.
“It will allow us to provide excellent quality and value with a competitive edge to our channel partners and their end users,” Stepanian said.
In April Socomec, boosted its local team to create a strong foothold in the Australian market.
