Vita Group (ASX:VTG) non-executive director, Melinda Snowden, has resigned and will leave the tech reseller from August 22.
Snowden occupied the position since September 25, 2008, and sat on Vita Group’s audit compliance and risk committee, as well as its remuneration and nominations committee.
“The chairman and the board wish to thank Melinda for her many contributions during her time on the board,” Vita Group joint CEO, David McMahon, wrote in an announcement to the ASX.
Neither Snowden’s reasons for resigning nor her future plans were outlined in the announcement.
Vita Group announced a drop in profits of 16 per cent in February due to a fall in Telstra commissions, despite expecting growth from the operation of Telstra’s 100 new stores in the same month.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
