Bridge Point and Server Central merge

Server Central will come under the Bridge Point banner with current Server Central managing director, Andrew George, becoming a director of the merged entity.

Security and network integration provider, Bridge Point Communications and datacentre services company, Server Central, have entered into a principal agreement to merge on June 30.

The two organisations plan to integrate as quickly as possible and will be retaining all staff with Server Central moving into Bridge Point’s Fortitude Valley office.

Server Central will come under the Bridge Point banner with current Server Central managing director, Andrew George, becoming a director of the merged entity.

Bridge Point managing director, Rob Siganto, said the merger was a progression of its current service and solution portfolio, strengthening areas such as virtualisation, storage and data management.

“Our enhanced data centre practice will be a complementary component to our network and security offerings to service our clients in the burgeoning virtualisation market,” Siganto said.

Server Central managing director, Andrew George, said in the past the two companies had partnered together on a number of opportunities.

“We both have a very strong focus on customer relationships and people,” George said.
