Distribution Central (DC), business unit NetWorld Systems, has struck a deal with wireless network supplier, Xirrus.
Resellers and integrators in the across A/NZ are expected to benefit from products such as the Xirrus Wi-Fi Array, a high performance Wi-Fi replacement for the traditional Ethernet workgroup switch.
“Xirrus was a great fit for us not only because they meet the requirement of being a leader in technology, but also because they are operating in an area that we were keen to get into,” DC managing director, Nick Verykios, said.
“There’s a great opportunity to give us access to new resellers.”
The deal with NetWorld Systems came about when Xirrus was looking for a distribution partner in A/NZ that possessed the necessary technical skills, support capabilities and means to drive its partner program.
The US-based vendor recently hired Joe Arcuri to head up its local operation.
Resellers can benefit from accessing NetWorld Systems’ support services that consist of pre-sales technical and post-sales field support, training and education programs.
The partnership with Xirrus is one of several high-profile distribution deals arranged by DC following the recent management reshuffle at the company.
