HP reveals new enterprise services leadership line up

HP has made a raft of new appointments across its enterprise services business in the Asia Pacific region.
David Caspari has become the senior vice-president of enterprise services for Asia Pacific and Japan, and will report to enterprise services senior vice-president and general manager, Tom Iannott.
Caspari's responsibilities entail growing the vendor’s services portfolio across the region, featuring applications, business processing and outsourcing services.
He was previously South Pacific enterprise services vice- president, which Alan Bennett has taken up.
Caspari maintains more than 15 years of experience in the IT, networking, telecoms and services industries. Prior to joining HP, he held several senior positions at Cisco Systems, Nortel, Bay Networks and Alcatel.
In his new role, Bennett will report to Caspari.
He will be charged with business growth across infrastructure services, business process outsourcing and application solutions across the South Pacific region that entails Australia and New Zealand.
Bennett was previously HP South Pacific enterprise services industry leader covering Government and defence. He joined EDS in 1995, and has been responsible for helping secure major contract wins in both the government and corporate sectors. The vendor purchased EDS in 2008 for $US13.9 billion.
Archie Reed has taken on additional responsibilities as the HP South Pacific enterprise services CTO along side his global chief technology for cloud security role. He will focus on leading HP’s cloud strategy. Based in Sydney, he will offer guidance to clients across a wide range of areas including architecture, products, research and development, as well as cloud implementation in high-profile environments.
