US-based Wi-Fi vendor, Xirrus, has hired Joe Arcuri as its A/NZ country manager.
Arcuri will be responsible for all channel and sales strategies, partner communications, client liaising and supervising the sales teams across both countries.
He will report directly to company vice-president of Asia-Pacific and Japan, Allan Smith.
Arcuri has worked within the IT Industry for 22 years in multiple layers of the IT supply chain – including technical support, quality control, business development, sales and general management.
For the past 12 years, he has focused on building, developing, and maintaining sales teams for vendors such as IBM and CA and systems integrators and distributors within the A/NZ market.
He was most recently the national sales director for Synergy Plus.
“Joe has the experience that will be an asset to Xirrus as we broaden our reach across the A/NZ region,” Smith said.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
