Sage launches its ERP X3 version 6.2

New software version includes a host of new features

Business software vendor, Sage, recently announced its latest solution – the ERP X3 version 6.2.

It features new enhancements, with over 320 enhancements to version 6.1 – including key updates to the Safe X3 platform and financial, manufacturing and distribution modules.

It incorporates Sage Search, a tool that assists research in any field of Sage ERP X3 via an easy-to-use search box, with an Internet-friendly method of sharing data, the SDATA business application protocol.

The ERP X3 version 6.2 also includes an Electronic Document Management (EDM) which indexes and archives electronic documents and content, accessed directly from the ERP.

Sage Business Solutions managing director, Mike Lorge, said “We’ve greatly enhanced v6.2 with hundreds of module improvements which will benefit our customers and further deliver on ERP modernisation, helping mid-market businesses implement real systems of innovation without activity disruption.”

Lorge also added that the company is aiming to provide effective user experience by developing ways to build its product quality.

Sage also recently launched the CRM v7.1 solution for the mid-market.

Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
