CSC lands $6.3 million iSoft integration deal

It will roll out iSoft's Patient Administration System across two hospital campuses for the Western Australia Department of Health

IT integrator, CSC, landed $6.3 million services contract with the Western Australia Department of Health.

As part of the deal, it will implement iSoft’s Patient Administration System (PAS), across two hospital campuses. PAS is part of a sub-program of Western Australia’s eHealth reform program.

The aim of PAS is to create a single application across all of WA Health using common processes and one source of reference data.

In addition to the deploying PAS, CSC will also supply services including program and quality management services, PAS testing and training, technical readiness, patient index analysis, and development of a learning management system.

CSC’s bid to acquire iSoft is back on track after former CEO, Gary Cohen, commenced legal proceedings against investor, Oceania Healthcare Technology Investments.

Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
