COMMUNITY: Watchguard looks ahead with partners

WatchGuard Technologies recently held its Asia-Pacific Partner and Distributor conference staged in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
CEO of WatchGuard Technologies, Joe Wang, updated attendees on company developments.
Partners also got an understanding of the company’s product roadmap, marketing campaigns and channel programs for 2011 as well as a look into its engineering framework.
More than 60 partners attended from across the region including four from ANZ: Nick Verykios (Firewall Systems), Dominic Whitehand (WhiteGold Solutions), Kristal Jamieson (Exeed), and Craig Gallaher (Elmtree Consulting).
WhiteGold Solutions from Australia won Best Partner Support – Asia-Pacific for its outstanding service in supporting the WatchGuard Australia channel in 2011. The award was voted on and determined directly by WatchGuard’s internal support staff.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
