Communications integrator, NSC, has appointed Stephen Johnson as its latest NSW state sales manager.
He replaces Michael Bloomfield, who has taken up a new position in the direct sales sector.
In the role, Johnson will be involved in building and maintaining customer relationships and will focus on NSC’s clients’ business drivers and outcomes.
“In an ever-changing market dynamic, trying to understand what the market is doing and being one step ahead of them in innovation is a challenge,” he said.
Johnson has more than 20 years of experience in ICT and services. He previously worked for Alcatel as a regional manager in Melbourne.
He participated in the formation of ICT integrator, Integ, and during his tenure, helped Integ secure several major projects – including large scale deployments for the Salvation Army and Ernst & Young. Johnson started his career with the NSW police force where he worked for five years before joining James Hardie for seven years in sales and business development.
“Stephen has a great track record in our core markets such as FSI and he also brings specific knowledge of industries where we plan to strengthen our presence,” NSC managing director, Craig Neil, said.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
