IT integrator, Integ Group, has joined Emerson Network Power as an official Network Solutions Provider (NSP).
As an Emerson NSP, Integ gains access to the extended resources of the vendor’s technical, sales, engineering and support teams across A/NZ. This also includes access for its customers to Emerson’s Sydney datacentre for live demonstrations and technical support.
Integ CEO, Ian Poole, said the partnership allowed it to add value to customers, especially within its datacentre and network offerings.
“We’re getting heavily involved in the datacentre space around not just building the physical datacentre, but cabling, racking and so on. With Emerson, we’re providing the powering requirements for the datacentre and some of the other components that we don’t have,” Poole said.
Integ is one of three national providers that taking part in the program along with Data Electrical Services Australia (DESA), and Silcar Energy Solutions. All up Emerson has about 12 partners in the program, which was revealed in February.
To gain top position, partners are required to undergo full training and certification in Emerson’s offerings, ensuring they have the capability to propose and support the vendor’s offerings. Integ has about 10 staff trained under the program.
“We’ve got an ongoing training program taking place to bring staff up to speed,” Poole said. “We see it as a distinct advantage for us to be accredited at the highest level, because that’s what our customers expect from us,” Poole said. “It’s an important of our total solution.”
