Federal Government puts printer panel in place

The line up consists of Fuji Xerox Australia, Konica Minolta, Kyocera Mita, Ricoh, Lexmark and Sharp

The Federal Government has established a whole-of-government major office machines panel.

The line up consists of Fuji Xerox Australia, Konica Minolta, Kyocera Mita, Ricoh, Lexmark and Sharp.

The arrangement covers three categories – network printers, multifunction devices and scanners - are based on equipment and support as well as maintenance and consumables.

Almost a year ago, the Department of Finance and Deregulation issued the tender. At the time, the Department looked into establishing two whole-of-government panels.

As part of the RFT, there was also a separate tender for the Whole of Government to establish a panel for Managed Print Services (MPS).

There has been no selection for this part yet and an outcome is expected in next two months or so.
