Altech adds Kensington to line up

Kensington assures growth with joint venture

International mobile computing solutions vendor, Kensington, has entered into a distribution partnership with Altech Computers.

It will distribute the full range of Kensington products including notebook security locks, docks, hubs, power adapters, smartphone and tablet accessories. Altech managing director, Antony Sheen, said Kensington’s product ranges complemented the company's existing portfolio.

Kensington local marketing and business development manager, Sam Goldstein, said, partnering with Altech allowed it to offer the reseller channel more choice.

Kensington has four other distributors: Try and Byte, Ingram Micro, Express Online and Force Technology.

In September 2009, Kensington signed a retail partnership with Dick Smith, distributed by Try and Byte.

The new partnership kicks off on April 12.

Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
