Productivity software vendor, Mindjet, has announced two senior appointments as part of an 80 per cent growth strategy in Australia for 2011.
The year-on-year growth target underpins a corporate strategy marked by new products, investment, leadership and a strategic focus on solutions that complement Microsoft applications. Mindjet has also announced two new products - MindManager Explorer for SharePoint and MindManager Mapshare - that enhance use of Microsoft Web solution.
Mindjet regional vice-president, Americas and Asia-Pacific, Abe Smith, said growth in the country in Australia was integral to the company’s success in the Asia-Pacific region, hence the appointments.
Cameron Ackbury has been appointed General Manager Asia-Pacific and Japan, and Conor O’Gorman, Channel Manager.
O’Gorman will head the country’s channel efforts based out of Sydney.
“The thrust of our efforts will focus on strengthening and invigorating Mindjet’s channel partnerships through events, education and raised awareness,” Ackbury said.
Mindjet’s strategy was announced at the Australian SharePoint Conference in Sydney. Future events are planned throughout the region to demonstrate to knowledge workers how they can become more productive with business productivity applications in the workplace.
