ASX-listed IT services provider, UXC, has landed an outsourcing contract with DuluxGroup Australia.
The three-year contract also comes with an option for a two-year extension, and also includes the building and management of a specialised IT infrastructure environment.
The deal will provide a infrastructure and management support services for about 2000 DuluxGroup systems users across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
“It requires us to build a complete, custom IT infrastructure and environment alongside DuluxGroup from the ground up. Our flexibility and ability to focus and solve problems was seen as a key differentiator by the DuluxGroup,” UXC managing director, Cris Nicolli, said in a statement to the ASX.
“This is another major milestone for UXC and represents another solution utilising the breadth of capabilities from many of UXC businesses.”
The project is already underway with new datacentres, communications and infrastructure, in time for the infrastructure hand-over during the Easter timeframe.
UXC recently announced plans to merge its subsidiaries, Integ, XSI Data Solutions and UXC Connect into one entity, which is set to begin trading from July 1.
