Ingram Micro has partnered up with UK-based power vendor, Certero.
The vendor’s flagship product is PowerStudio, which claims to save energy usage on PCs, laptops or thin clients. Certero set up an Australian office in September.
“We are especially pleased to be partnering with Certero against a backdrop of increasing electricity prices. We believe businesses in Australia will continue to look towards reducing their computer fleet electricity bills and reducing their Co2 emissions," Ingram Micro enterprise technology group director, David Lenz, said in a statement.
"PowerStudio is a timely and powerful desktop energy management tool and typically provides a very fast ROI of around 4 months. In these tough economic times, we are very excited about being able to help our customers achieve tangible returns.”
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
