Niche AV and IT distributor, Anyware Computer Accessories, has rekindled its relationship with Chinese peripherals manufacturer, A4Tech, in a bid to deliver the new X7 computing peripherals brand.
Anyware managing director, Garrison Huang, said the company renewed its distribution agreement with A4Tech following a successful partnership throughout much of the last decade. “A4Tech presents itself as a great alternative in the marketplace, as a trusted brand for quality, reliable peripherals,” Huang said in a statement. “We are very excited about expanding A4Tech’s reach in the market with the addition of its X7 range.”
Established in 1987, A4Tech is a manufacturer of computer input devices with a strong focus on ergonomic design.
Huang said he’s looking forward to the release of the new peripherals line-up into the Australian market. The gaming, office and personal computing peripherals brand will range from keyboards and mice to speakers and notebook accessories.
Huang said there are big plans for the company in 2011. The distributor is looking to diversify and expand into new market segments. "We've been talking about diversifying and introducing more product coverage," he told ARN. "We're looking at the security surveillance market and expanding further into mass market coverage."
As such, the company has hired a new corporate channel manager. "The decision was made during the Christmas break and the new person will start in mid to late February," he said. "We want to engage the corporate reseller a lot deeper this year."
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
