Online IT retailer, eStore, is looking at acquisition as part of its growth plans for 2011.
The company was known as City Software until it rebranded to eStore in November.
While organic growth is on the cards, eStore CEO, Lorenzo Coppa, hopes acquisitions will take centre stage.
“We have the capacity to multiply the size of our business,” Coppa said.
The company is hunting for other online players that deal in technology.
With a number online retailers struggling in at the moment, eStore is eager to snap some of them up and provide a way for some of them to exit the market, Coppa said.
“We can certainly grow quicker if we acquire the right businesses,” he said.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
