triCerat appoints regional sales manager

US-based vendor, triCerat, has appointed Jim Balog as its regional sales manager.
The company specialises in enhancing enterprise management of desktops and applications.
TrackITOnline, headed by Phil Lancaster, is now triCerat’s exclusive distributors in Australia.
The relationship began in June this year.
Balog has work in senior executive roles at Unisys, Sun Microsystems and EvoStor. He has 22 years of ICT sales experience and has held positions in the US, Japan and Australia.
“This [appointment] follows a period of great success for triCerat and the desire for it to also be the dominant player in its market segment as is the case elsewhere in the world,” Lancaster said in a statement.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
