Storage vendor, CommVault, has appointed Lincoln Goldsmith, to lead it’s A/NZ channel push.
He will be responsible for the vendor’s reseller, distributor and OEM relationships. ACA Pacific, SAN Systems and Avnet make up CommVault’s distribution stable.
“We’re 100 per cent channel focused and need to utilise the skill sets we have in our partners,” Goldsmith said. “We’re looking at how to better optimise the partner community that we currently have and what programs we need to roll out.”
Goldsmith said it was beginning to roll out sales and training boot camps for partners.
“There are lots of things in the pipeline that are under development,” he said.
Prior to joining CommVault, Goldsmith worked for XSI Data Solutions and was most recently with NetApp in Japan as its multi-national account manager.
In September, the vendor hired Bryan Stibbard as its country manager.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
