Networking vendor, TP-Link, is looking to grow its market presence by appointing components distributor, Altech, as a new addition to its stable and its second distributor in Australia.
TP-Link is not a new vendor to the market and is already represented by Anyware Computer Accessories. The vendor plans to establish a presence in Australia, and felt it was time to add a second distributor to the books.
In a statement, Altech managing director, Antony Sheen, said the appointment presented an opportunity to extend the company's networking portfolio and offer more variety to the reseller channel.
TP-Link sales director, Jason Xu, added Altech was authorised to distribute all TP-Link products in Australia and its three-year warranty.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
